IRVING, Texas – Conference USA has announced its broadcast schedule and Middle Tennessee will have all 12 games aired during the 2018 season. The Blue Raiders’ game at Kentucky will be announced at a later date and is expected to be on the SEC Network.
Middle Tennessee will appear on seven different outlets during the season with three games on the newly-formed ESPN+, and two each on CBS Sports Network, ESPN3 and the SEC Network. The Blue Raiders will also have games broadcast on ESPN2, Stadium/Facebook and beIN Sports.
The Blue Raiders will open the season at Vanderbilt on Sept. 1 and that game will be shown on the SEC Network at 6:30 PM before MT opens at home the following week on ESPN+ against UT-Martin. The Raiders will be shown nationally on ESPN2 against Georgia on Sept. 15 and will open league play on Sept. 29 at home against FAU. The Blue Raiders and Owls will be shown on Stadium/Facebook.
On Friday, Oct. 5, Middle Tennessee will travel to Marshall for a CBS Sports Network broadcast before taking on FIU in Miami the following Saturday on beIN Sports. The Blue Raiders will then face Charlotte on Homecoming and that game will be shown on ESPN3 at 2 PM.
Middle Tennessee will then travel to ODU on Oct. 27 for a 2:30 PM contest on ESPN+ before returning home to host rival WKU on Friday Nov. 2. The MT-WKU game will be shown nationally on CBS Sports Network.
The Blue Raiders will head to UTEP on Nov. 10 to face the Miners on ESPN+ at 2:30 PM then will step out of conference to take on Kentucky Nov. 17. The MT-UK game is expected to be broadcast on the SEC Network but will be officially announced at a later date.
MT will close the regular season at home against UAB for a 2 PM contest on ESPN3.
The 2018 C-USA Championship game on Saturday, Dec. 1 will air on CBS Sports Network at a time to be determined.
ESPN is scheduled to carry all six of C-USA’s bowl games in which it has a guaranteed selection.
